Sin embargo, a un disc&iacute;pulo de Jesucristo se le ense&ntilde;a a imitar la vida del Maestro. Esto implica descubrir c&oacute;mo Jes&uacute;s ofrec&iacute;a el perd&oacute;n con generosidad, dec&iacute;a la verdad con gracia, amaba a los dem&aacute;s y prestaba un servicio desinteresado. Nuestra fe se pone a prueba en nuestras relaciones. Hablar de amor es sencillo, pero ponerlo en pr&aacute;ctica cuando nos sentimos heridos, decepcionados o incomprendidos es mucho m&aacute;s dif&iacute;cil.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>Permitir que el Evangelio modifique nuestros impulsos es una parte esencial de ser disc&iacute;pulo de Cristo. Nos desaf&iacute;a a dejar a un lado nuestro orgullo y a esforzarnos por ser fieles en el matrimonio. De las amistades aprendemos tolerancia, integridad y lealtad. Esto nos anima a ofrecer perd&oacute;n tal y como lo hemos recibido en los momentos dif&iacute;ciles. Como pastor, he observado que los actos modestos de humildad y las conversaciones en privado suelen demostrar un mayor crecimiento espiritual que el culto p&uacute;blico.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>No debemos evitar a las personas quebrantadas, tal y como hizo Jes&uacute;s. &Eacute;l abordaba las relaciones con una mezcla de compasi&oacute;n y honestidad. Es nuestro deber, como disc&iacute;pulos suyos, seguir su ejemplo. Ser disc&iacute;pulo de Cristo significa decir la verdad incluso cuando parece m&aacute;s seguro guardar silencio, buscar la reconciliaci&oacute;n cuando marcharse parece m&aacute;s f&aacute;cil y elegir el amor cuando el resentimiento parece justificado.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>La buena noticia es que Dios no nos abandona para que resolvamos este problema por nuestra cuenta. A medida que le entregamos nuestras relaciones a &Eacute;l, el Esp&iacute;ritu Santo desarrolla gradualmente en nosotros cualidades semejantes a las de Cristo.
