Los disc&iacute;pulos no le segu&iacute;an desde la distancia. Luchaban juntos, caminaban con &Eacute;l, aprend&iacute;an de los dem&aacute;s y se formaban a trav&eacute;s de la vida en comunidad. A pesar de sus defectos, la Iglesia es el principal lugar donde tiene lugar esta formaci&oacute;n.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>Como aspiran a la perfecci&oacute;n, a muchos creyentes les resulta dif&iacute;cil la iglesia. Sin embargo, Jes&uacute;s nunca prometi&oacute; una comunidad perfecta, sino que se comprometi&oacute; a estar presente en ella. Jes&uacute;s nos insta a amar a las personas tal y como son, a ofrecer un perd&oacute;n sincero, a servir con constancia y a desarrollar la paciencia cuando dice: &laquo;S&iacute;gueme&raquo;. Estas lecciones no se pueden aprender por cuenta propia. La vida en la iglesia sirve como entorno de formaci&oacute;n para la aplicaci&oacute;n pr&aacute;ctica de la fe.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>La humildad es una lecci&oacute;n que aprendemos al seguir a Jes&uacute;s en la iglesia. Aprendemos a escuchar, a llevar las cargas unos de otros y a someternos al liderazgo. Como las relaciones de colaboraci&oacute;n requieren esfuerzo, esto nos ense&ntilde;a a ser perseverantes. Adem&aacute;s, nos ense&ntilde;a lo que es una misi&oacute;n, ya que, como grupo, representamos a Cristo ante el mundo de una forma que ninguna persona podr&iacute;a hacerlo por s&iacute; sola.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>A menudo aconsejo a los nuevos conversos que se mantengan cerca de Jes&uacute;s si quieren crecer r&aacute;pidamente, y que permanezcan fieles a su pueblo si quieren crecer en profundidad. Cuando Jes&uacute;s dijo: &laquo;S&iacute;gueme&raquo;, sab&iacute;a que el camino incluir&iacute;a adoraci&oacute;n, servicio, correcci&oacute;n, &aacute;nimo y alegr&iacute;a compartida. La iglesia es parte del camino, no una desviaci&oacute;n del discipulado.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>Ten en cuenta que el crecimiento lleva tiempo mientras recorres este camino. Aunque te resulte inc&oacute;modo, acude a la iglesia. Sirve incluso cuando no te lo pidan. Ama a cualquier precio.
