Una de las primeras preguntas suele versar sobre el matrimonio. &iquest;C&oacute;mo deber&iacute;a ser ahora que Cristo ocupa el centro de la vida? El mundo ofrece mil respuestas. Las Escrituras ofrecen algo m&aacute;s s&oacute;lido. El matrimonio en la Biblia no es un contrato basado en la conveniencia o en emociones cambiantes. Es un pacto hecho ante Dios mismo.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>A veces, un nuevo creyente da por sentado que los consejos sobre el matrimonio que ofrece la Escritura son complicados. No lo son. Son exigentes. La Biblia habla con una claridad sorprendente. Ama de forma abnegada. Perdona r&aacute;pidamente. Honra a tu c&oacute;nyuge incluso cuando el orgullo te susurre lo contrario. El matrimonio seg&uacute;n Dios no se rige por el estado de &aacute;nimo. Se forja a trav&eacute;s de la obediencia.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>Pablo escribe en Efesios 5:25: &laquo;Maridos, amad a vuestras esposas, as&iacute; como Cristo am&oacute; a la Iglesia y se entreg&oacute; a s&iacute; mismo por ella&raquo;. Esa sola frase basta para desmontar cualquier idea superficial sobre el matrimonio. Cristo no am&oacute; a la Iglesia cuando era f&aacute;cil. Se entreg&oacute; por completo. Un marido estudia ese vers&iacute;culo y siente su peso. Una mujer lee los vers&iacute;culos circundantes y oye el mismo llamado al respeto y a la colaboraci&oacute;n. Ambos est&aacute;n bajo el mismo Se&ntilde;or.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>Muchos vers&iacute;culos b&iacute;blicos sobre el matrimonio dirigidos a los nuevos creyentes revelan algo sorprendente. Dios se preocupa profundamente por los peque&ntilde;os h&aacute;bitos dentro del hogar. El tono de voz. La paciencia en momentos de estr&eacute;s. La fidelidad en el d&iacute;a a d&iacute;a. Un matrimonio cristiano crece en la cocina, en las largas conversaciones despu&eacute;s del trabajo, en las oraciones susurradas antes de dormir. Sin p&uacute;blico. Dios lo ve.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>Los primeros meses de fe pueden resultar abrumadores para un nuevo cristiano. Las Escrituras, la vida en la iglesia, la oraci&oacute;n y las nuevas prioridades. El matrimonio se convierte en un campo de entrenamiento donde la fe deja de ser una teor&iacute;a y se convierte en una pr&aacute;ctica diaria. Aprendes a decir &laquo;me he equivocado&raquo;. Aprendes a escuchar. Aprendes a servir primero.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>G&eacute;nesis 2:24 lo dice claramente: &laquo;Por eso dejar&aacute; el hombre a su padre y a su madre, y se unir&aacute; a su mujer, y ser&aacute;n una sola carne&raquo;. Una sola carne. No dos individuos compitiendo por el control. Una sola vida formada ante Dios. La unidad requiere humildad. El orgullo destruye los hogares.<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>Un creyente nuevo en la fe no debe alarmarse si el matrimonio todav&iacute;a le parece un l&iacute;o. Todo hogar cristiano est&aacute; en construcci&oacute;n. Cristo transforma los corazones poco a poco. Lo que importa es la direcci&oacute;n. &iquest;Se est&aacute;n volviendo ambos c&oacute;nyuges juntos hacia Cristo?<\/p><div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div><p>Leed juntos las Escrituras de vez en cuando. Aunque solo sean unos vers&iacute;culos. Rezad oraciones breves cuando surja un conflicto. Seguid aprendiendo de los vers&iacute;culos b&iacute;blicos para nuevos creyentes que hablan del amor, la paciencia y el perd&oacute;n.
