Una pregunta que me hacen casi todas las semanas los nuevos cristianos parece sencilla, pero revela algo importante más allá de lo aparente.¿Qué libro de la Biblia debería leer primero?<\/em>Un nuevo creyente no solo busca conocimiento. Busca un punto de apoyo. El terreno de su vida ha cambiado y ahora quiere saber cómo vivir bajo la autoridad de Cristo.<\/p>

Cuando alguien me vuelve a preguntar:«¿Qué libro de la Biblia debería leer primero?»<\/em>, suelo recomendarle el Evangelio de Mateo o el Evangelio de Juan. Sumérgete en las palabras de Jesús. Fíjate en cómo se dirige a los pescadores, a los recaudadores de impuestos y a las personas cuyas vidas están marcadas por el fracaso. Observa cómo aborda el trabajo, la responsabilidad y la fidelidad en la vida cotidiana.<\/p>

Muchos versículos bíblicos para los nuevos creyentes empiezan a cobrar sentido en los Evangelios, porque revelan el carácter del propio Cristo. Un cristiano nuevo no empieza con teología complicada. Empieza observando cómo vive Jesús. Sus prioridades se convierten poco a poco en las nuestras.<\/p>

Lo que dice la Biblia sobre el trabajo y el propósito<\/strong><\/h2>
<\/div>

Un pasaje que todo creyente debería aplicar a su vida cotidiana es Colosenses 3:23: «Hagáis lo que hagáis, trabajad de todo corazón, como para el Señor y no para los hombres». Este versículo saca al trabajo de la categoría de la mera supervivencia. Lo sitúa en el ámbito de la adoración.<\/p>

Un cristiano recién convertido suele dar por sentado que el propósito debe manifestarse como algo grandioso y visible. Las Escrituras corrigen discretamente esa suposición. Jesús pasó años trabajando con sus manos antes de predicar en público. Largas jornadas. Trabajo silencioso. El Hijo de Dios no pasó por esos años a toda prisa. Los vivió fielmente.<\/p>

Este patrón aparece a lo largo de los versículos bíblicos dirigidos a los nuevos creyentes. Proverbios alaba la diligencia. Eclesiastés exhorta a la persona a realizar su trabajo con fuerza. El apóstol Pablo anima a los creyentes a vivir con sencillez, trabajar con sus manos y honrar a Dios a través de sus responsabilidades diarias. La fidelidad crece en tierra corriente.<\/p>

Otro pasaje que da firmeza al corazón es 1 Corintios 15:58: «Sed firmes, inconmovibles, abundando siempre en la obra del Señor, sabiendo que vuestro trabajo en el Señor no es en vano». La vida cristiana rara vez avanza a través de momentos dramáticos. Avanza a través de una obediencia repetida que pocas personas perciben.<\/p>

El desánimo llega rápidamente para un nuevo creyente. Rezas, pero el trabajo sigue siendo difícil. Sirves fielmente, pero el reconocimiento nunca llega. Las Escrituras responden a esa silenciosa frustración con una firme promesa. Dios ve lo que otros pasan por alto. Ningún acto fiel ofrecido a Cristo se desperdicia.<\/p>

El trabajo se convierte en adoración cuando el corazón recuerda quién es el verdadero Señor. No es el jefe. No es la nómina. Es Cristo mismo.<\/p>
