我经常看到从事牧养事工的基督徒在努力理解“牺牲”这一概念。我们往往将其与匮乏、苦难或损失联系在一起。然而，圣经所说的牺牲，是上帝释放我们，而非从我们身上夺走什么。 当我们放下物质上的保障时，便会更加倚靠神的信实。门徒生活中的牺牲，是呼召我们信靠：即便神的道路看似受限，它仍通向生命。<\/p>

顺服体现在日常的选择中。当我们选择正直而非利益时，当我们选择宽恕而非报复时，当我们甘愿付出甚至不惜牺牲某些东西时，顺服便显明出来。尽管这些经历往往并不引人注目，但它们塑造了以基督为中心的人生。当我们在微小的牺牲中持守忠心时，我们的灵魂便为更大的顺服做好了准备。<\/p>

这种模式由耶稣的一生所定义。祂舍弃权柄而选择谦卑，舍弃安逸而选择顺服，最终为我们的救赎献上了自己的生命。 当我们回应祂的呼召时，并不需要提供祂尚未赐予的任何东西。十字架提醒我们，这个故事绝不会止于牺牲；在顺服之后，复活必将到来。<\/p>
