这些年来，我曾与许多渴望成为优秀领导者的男女交谈过。有企业主、青年牧师，还有那些努力带领家庭度过艰难时期的父母。他们几乎每个人都用不同的措辞问了同一个问题：我该去哪里寻找我的指南针？圣经通过一位从一开始就不想担任这个职务的人，回答了这个问题。<\/p>

摩西站在燃烧的荆棘前，与神争辩了整整五章。他列举了所有自己无法担任领导者的理由：他口才不佳；在同胞中毫无威望；手上还沾着埃及人的血。神并没有给他一本领导力手册。 上帝赐予他的是同在与应许。至今仍是如此。<\/p>

旷野即是课堂<\/strong><\/h2>
<\/div>

没有人能在安逸中建立真正的领导力。摩西在米甸牧羊四十年，才第一次带领以色列人踏上征程。 那几十年的时光绝非虚度。它们将他彻底磨砺。这位埃及王子变成了牧羊人，体会到了饥饿、风吹日晒，以及那些不听话的牲畜的倔强。<\/p>

这是你会在整本圣经中发现的模式。 大卫戴上王冠之前曾放牧羊群；约瑟管理一国的粮食储备之前，曾身陷囹圄；保罗建立第一间教会之前，曾在阿拉伯度过了数年时光。领导力的成长很少发生在聚光灯下，而是在那段无人鼓掌的静默时光中悄然发生。如果你此刻正身处这样的阶段，疑惑为何神的作为似乎如此缓慢，请鼓起勇气。 祂正在你里面建造一些东西，而观众的喧哗只会打断这个过程。<\/p>

服侍先于统治<\/strong><\/h2>
<\/div>

每次读《出埃及记》时，有一点总让我深受触动。摩西从未停止做仆人，即使在法老放走百姓之后也是如此。 他虽未给任何人洗脚，却承担着民众的抱怨，应对着叛乱，并为那个不断背叛他的民族代求。当他的子民要求水时，他并没有退回帐篷里发号施令，而是俯伏在神面前，为他们恳求。<\/p>

这才是最纯粹的仆人式领导。这不是从商业研讨会上学来的技巧，而是在压力下锤炼出的姿态。后来，耶稣会手持毛巾和水盆跪下，将这一道理阐释得淋漓尽致：凡想要为大的，就必须作众人的仆人。在“仆人式领导”这个词被命名之前，摩西就已经这样活出了这种生命。<\/p>

我曾目睹许多领导者因试图自上而下地管理而精疲力竭，他们厉声下达命令，却索要自己从未赢得过的忠诚。这种做法无法持久。 那些真正能改变会堂、教会和家庭的领袖，正是那些谦卑低调的人。他们主动承担重担，而不是把所有艰巨的任务都推给他人。他们时刻铭记，这些人究竟是谁的子民。<\/p>

你的“真北”并非一种性格特质<\/strong><\/h2>
<\/div>

摩西天生并不自信，也不擅长口才。但他拥有明确的方向。上帝给他指明了一个前进的目标，自荆棘燃烧之后，他所做的每一个决定都以此为标尺。你的呼召也是如此。天赋的重要性远不如你想象的那么大，方向才更为关键。<\/p>

诚实地问问自己，你正朝着什么方向前行。有些领袖多年来漫无目的，误将忙碌当作目标。满满的日程表，冗长的会议，却没有指南针。摩西花了八十年才弄清楚这一点，其中四十年是在沙漠中度过的——大多数人会称之为虚度光阴。但上帝不会虚度任何一个季节，祂正是在这些季节中塑造领袖。<\/p>

本周，选一段关系，试着去服侍而非指挥。像圣经里那样“洗脚”。承担本不属于你的重担，然后观察上帝如何因你的顺服而行事。<\/p>
