About The Mentoring Project
At The Mentoring Project, our passion is to help every follower of Christ grow through biblical guidance and meaningful mentoring relationships. We believe discipleship happens best when people walk together, sharing wisdom and faith through every season of life. That’s why we provide free Biblical Life Skill Guides – pastor-written, practical, and available to read, listen to, or download anywhere in the world.
Our Story
The Mentoring Project began with a simple conviction: every believer needs mentors who help them see life through the truth of Scripture. Founders John and Ludie Nugier experienced how mentoring shaped their own walk with God and desired to share that gift with others. Out of that vision, The Mentoring Project grew into a discipleship ministry dedicated to equipping people to learn, live, and lead through Christ-centered mentoring.
What started as a local effort has become a global movement, connecting generations of Christians who are growing in faith and learning to live by the Word of God.
Our Mission
At The Mentoring Project, our mission is simple, to walk with people as they grow in faith and learn to live out the truth of God’s Word in everyday life. We exist to help believers of all ages find biblical guidance, develop life-giving mentoring relationships, and experience the joy of growing spiritually through practical discipleship.
We believe mentoring is more than teaching, it’s walking beside someone with grace, wisdom, and encouragement. Through our Biblical Life Skill Guides, we aim to make that journey easier: helping individuals discover God’s purpose for their lives, strengthen their families, and build a faith that lasts.
Our Vision
Our discipleship mission is inspired by passages such as Psalm 78:3-4 and 2 Timothy 2:2, which call believers to pass on God’s truth to the next generation. We envision churches and individuals around the world engaging in intentional mentoring that helps people of all ages continue their faith journey and experience an adventurous life with God.
From teens discovering their identity in Christ to adults learning to lead families and organizations, our goal is to see every generation equipped to mentor and be mentored—living by the Word of God and reflecting Jesus in all they do.
Our Resources
The Mentoring Project is more than a message—it’s a digital library of wisdom. Our Biblical Life Skill Guides cover the key areas of life every believer faces:

Each guide is designed for 4–6 week sessions, making them ideal for small groups, one-on-one mentoring, or personal study. Every resource is free to read, listen to, and download, and we’re continually translating them into new languages so believers everywhere can grow
